Game Drive and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Experience:

• 06:00 AM: Wake-up call. Quick tea/coffee.
• 06:30 AM: Morning game drive in Kasenyi plains — spot elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, lions, hyenas, and warthogs.
• 10:00 AM: Return to the lodge for a full breakfast.
• 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Leisure time: swim, relax, or visit a nearby community project (optional).
• 01:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
• 02:30 PM: Transfer to Mweya Jetty for the Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise.
• 03:00 PM – 05:00 PM: Boat safari — observe herds of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and numerous bird species (like the African fish eagle and kingfishers) up close.
• 05:30 PM: Short evening game drive while returning to the lodge.
• 07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight stay.

• 10:00 AM: Continue journey back to Kampala.
• 12:30 PM: Lunch en-route in Mbarara town.
• 04:00 PM: Brief stop at the Mpambire Drum Makers Village (optional) to see traditional drum-making.
• 06:00 PM – 07:00 PM: Arrival in Kampala or Entebbe — drop off at your hotel or airport (for evening flights).
